We feel all like home in the great outdoors, but for a good night sleep we need a bed. This is what we want to provide you at Basecamp Andermatt. Its a private mountainlodge right in the middle of the Swiss Alps. You will find here great sleeping comfort and an unique athmosphere.

I was often on the search to find a lodge inbetween the mountains providing the essentials what a human needs. Keep it simple and true.
I didnt want to pay for a hotel athmosphere, cause this was not what I was looking for.
Basecamp Andermatt is a place to share room and space with other people who have the same passion for the mountains as you have. Instead of hanging out at the lobbybar, you can listen to the stories of the day at the fireplace or plan your next adventure with your friends in a cozy lodge.
You have the option to book only on bed if travelling by your self, or rent out the whole room for your friends. Its up to you what you make out of it. Basecamp Andermatt is the place for freeriders on skis or bike to start your day in the mountains.
Wheather your passion is climbing or hiking your will have here a good basecamp for your tour. The house is not accessible with a car. You have to go the last 100m by bike, skis or foot. But this should not be and obstacle for a true mountaineer

We provide good sleeping comfort with solid beds, good matrasses, feather pillows and down blankets. You will find a big fully equipped kitchen for self catering. Cooking with your friends is not only tasty and fun, but it also greatly helps to keep the travelling budget low in Switzerland.
A storage room with floorheating and racks for skiboots and shoes keeps your gear dry and warm for the next adventure.
Our diningroom with a fireplace and our big lobbyarea are both a perfect spot to unwind and share the stories with your friends.
As a hightlight we have a 10 person panoramasauna to relax after skiing
Its free for our guests every wednesday and saturday. We can heat it up and reserve it on your request for an additional fee of 30.- CHF. Please bring your own towels for the sauna.
For those among us, who cant relax with a glass of wine after the day is done, there is free WIFI in the whole lodge to keep in contact with home and check the latest weatherforecast
We have also a Skiroom / Bikeroom with all the tools and a workingbench if you want to service your skis or bikes.
